We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Food Safety & Hygiene Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene across large-scale catering operations. The role ensures strict compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies, while driving a strong culture of food safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor food safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies in compliance with HACCP, ISO, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across catering units and central kitchens.
- Lead training programs to build staff awareness and capability in food safety and hygiene practices.
- Investigate non-compliance, food safety incidents, and customer complaints, ensuring corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and clients on all food safety and hygiene matters.
- Maintain robust documentation, reporting, and record-keeping systems.
- Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, and HSE teams to drive a food safety culture.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hygiene standards and minimize risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or related field. Master’s preferred.
- Professional certifications (HACCP Level 4, ISO 22000, NEBOSH Food Safety, etc.) required.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in food safety and hygiene, with at least 4 years in a senior management role within large-scale catering or industrial food operations.
- Strong knowledge of international food safety standards, audits, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
- Ability to manage multiple catering sites and high-volume operations.
