Job Description – Senior Foreman (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical & Technical Works)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Foreman with solid hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Technical Works to manage and supervise a multi-skilled workforce. The role involves site supervision, materials planning, BOQ management, and quality control, ensuring projects are delivered within time, cost, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Manage teams of plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and general technicians.
• HVAC Systems: Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ducting, chillers, split units, VRF/VRV, and ventilation systems.
• Plumbing Works: Oversee water supply, drainage, piping, and sanitary works ensuring compliance with local codes.
• Electrical Works: Ensure safe installation of wiring, DBs, lighting, and power systems.
• Material Management: Monitor daily materials usage, request site requirements in advance, reduce wastage, and coordinate with procurement.
• BOQs & Estimation: Review drawings, calculate material quantities, verify BOQs, and coordinate with engineers for cost control.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure adherence to specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare daily site progress reports, highlight technical issues, and escalate where necessary.
• Coordination: Liaise with project engineers, subcontractors, and clients for smooth workflow.

Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, AHU, FCU, VRV/VRF, ducting, insulation).
• Understanding of plumbing codes and drainage systems.
• Electrical fundamentals: wiring, load distribution, earthing, safety.
• Ability to prepare and review BOQs and material take-offs.
• Familiarity with drawings, blueprints, CAD layouts, and technical specs.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc. if in UAE).
• Preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
