Senior Freight Broker

About Us:

ICM Logistix is a growing brokerage firm, committed to providing reliable and efficient logistics solutions. We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker – Independent Agent with an established book of business to join our team and help expand our brokerage operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring an existing portfolio of shippers and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Negotiate rates and secure freight with shippers and carriers.
• Identify and onboard new business opportunities to grow the brokerage.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery by coordinating with drivers and dispatch.
• Manage daily freight operations, including tracking and problem resolution.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven 2 years of experience as a Freight Broker with an active book of business (required)
• Strong understanding of freight lanes, market trends, and pricing.
• Established relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Logistics sales
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals.
• Understanding of FDA regulations related to refrigerated transport is beneficial.
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills to foster long-term partnerships.
• Proficient in using transportation management systems and software tools.
