Job Summary:

In this role, you will compile and analyze financial information to prepare General Ledger transactions, statutory financial statements/reports, and tax compliance schedules/reports. You will reconcile general ledger balances and examine recording and reporting documents. You will support in identifying process improvement opportunities and developing new solutions and process documentation. You will scrutinize, initiate, and complete corrective actions to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. #LI-KL1

Major Responsibilities:

• Performs the functions as a Lead within General Accounting group and assist Supervisor for various activities within the group.
• Perform complex and / or ad hoc tasks which may require decision making.
• Provide guidance and assists the team in assigning work and addressing & resolving day to day operational issues.
• Research, analyzes, and resolves various accounting/ tax / financial reporting issues collaboratively with Regional /Country Controllers, Project Accountants, FSMs, and other stakeholders.
• Ensures that monthly, supporting schedules are prepared promptly and reviewed for compliance with established procedures.
• Initiates and completes corrective action to ensure that outstanding items in account reconciliations are cleared promptly.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries into accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documents business transactions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge and understanding of financial statements and financial ratios.
• Analyze financial statement data and utilize key financial information and ratios to evaluate the financial health of a company.
• Manage information requests, responses, and timelines for third party or Government agency audits.
• Evaluate policies and procedures to assist in the development and implementation of new processes and/or improvements to existing processes.
