Senior HR Generalist

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will support both Workbridge, LLC and Positive Pressure with recruiting, benefits, training and development, performance management, compliance, and employee relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding with support from field operations team.
  • Collaborate with managers to forecast hiring needs and develop strategies to attract top talent.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, resolving issues effectively and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  • Mediate conflicts and provide guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Oversee E-Verify and I-9 verifications.
  • Manage multi-state wage and hour compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Develop and implement a performance review process.
  • Identify and address performance gaps through coaching, training, and/or development.
  • Assess employee training needs and design or coordinate professional development programs.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance employee skills and productivity.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including pre-renewal, open enrollment, and post-renewal debrief.
  • Analyze compensation structures to maintain competitiveness within the industry.
  • Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring statistics, and employee satisfaction.
  • Use data insights to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic advice on workforce planning and organizational change initiatives.
  • Lead HR-related initiatives during organizational changes, such as restructuring or system implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with employees to manage transitions smoothly.
  • Lead and manage the HR team by setting clear objectives, providing coaching and mentorship, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee team performance, allocate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative work environment to drive HR initiatives successfully.
  • Maintain visibility in the field at the project sites; be accessible to employees.
  • Remain current in human resources industry trends.
  • Exhibit confidentiality with executive, employee, and company information.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with executives, internal departments, staff, site teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, carriers, and candidates.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent years of human resources experience.
  • 5+ years of human resources experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with entry-level employees.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management, company departments, project teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and carriers.
  • Ability to build structure while supporting company growth.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-start, strong work ethic, and a team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

A successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
