Senior Human Resources Generalist

A growing, privately held manufacturing and services organization in the Fargo area is looking to add a Senior HR Representative to their team. This is a succession-focused role, with a clear path to step into the HR Director position within the next 12–18 months. You’ll work closely with current leadership, learn the business inside and out, and gradually take ownership of the full HR function. If you’re someone who wants to move beyond day-to-day HR tasks and into a leadership seat, this is a strong opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid, well-rounded HR experience across employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations
  • Experience leading or heavily supporting recruiting and interviewing efforts
  • Familiarity with payroll processes, including variable compensation or commissions
  • Exposure to ESOP environments or an understanding of employee-owned company structures (preferred, not required)
  • Ability to build trust across all levels of an organization, from field employees to leadership
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without things slipping through the cracks
  • Interest in stepping into a leadership role and owning the HR function long-term

This role will be heavily involved in hiring and talent acquisition, while also supporting payroll, benefits, and overall HR strategy as you transition into the Director role.

Pay is $75k – $90k DOE
