Job Summary
The Immigration Executive / Visa Officer is responsible for handling end-to-end visa processing for overseas education applicants. This role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with embassy and consulate requirements, and timely submission of visa applications to achieve high approval success rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify visa documentation as per country-specific requirements
- Handle complete student visa files from initiation to submission
- Coordinate with students for document collection and clarification
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with embassy / consulate guidelines
- Schedule visa appointments and manage submission timelines
- Track visa application status and update students and internal teams
- Handle embassy/consulate communications, if required
- Assist students with interview preparation (where applicable)
- Maintain proper records, checklists, and visa file documentation
- Handle visa rejections, re-applications, and appeal cases under guidance
- Coordinate with academic consultants and admissions teams
- Maintain confidentiality of student and visa-related information
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of student visa processes and documentation
- High attention to detail and compliance orientation
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under deadlines and pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office and visa tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Certification or training in immigration / visa processing (preferred)
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in student visa processing or immigration services
- Experience handling countries such as UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Europe (preferred)
