Senior Industrial Automation Engineer

Al Sakr Engineering is expanding its team! We are looking for a talented Industrial Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated systems that drive efficiency, safety, and reliability across industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Analyze production workflows and recommend automation improvements
• Develop, test, and implement automation solutions for machines and processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated systems efficiently
• Integrate automation with existing mechanical and electrical systems
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and training materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Proven experience in industrial automation engineering
• Strong skills in PLC programming (Siemens or similar platforms)
• Hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA systems
• Solid understanding of sensors, actuators, and control systems
• Familiarity with automation protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet/IP)
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., C#, Java) is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly

Pay: E£12,000.00 - E£20,000.00 per month
