Senior Information Technology Manager

1. Job Purpose

Lead the strategic direction, innovation, and operational excellence of the IT function. Drive the modernization of infrastructure, digital workflows, data analytics, and enterprise systems (especially SAP), ensuring IT acts as a value-adding business partner across all departments.

2. Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Vision

• - Define and lead the IT roadmap aligned with business objectives, focusing on operational efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision making.
• - Integrate IT into strategic planning cycles to transform technology into a competitive advantage.

People Leadership & Development

• - Build, lead, and upskill a collaborative IT team that is customer-oriented, agile, and accountable.
• - Develop and implement career paths, technical mentorship, and succession planning to build a resilient IT function.

Enterprise Systems (SAP & Digital Tools)

• - Oversee the health and performance of SAP ECC (especially FICO, SD, MM, PP) and its integration with internal and third-party systems.
• - Support the transition toward intelligent automation (e.g., IBM CP4BA or equivalent) and digital workflows across departments.
• - Govern SAP Transport Management System (TMS), configuration change controls, and release cycles.

Business Intelligence & Data Enablement

• - Partner with business and finance leads to deliver actionable dashboards, KPIs, and predictive insights using tools such as Power BI, SAP BI, or alternatives.
• - Enable self-service reporting, ensuring data security, consistency, and performance.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• - Own the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, including access control, endpoint protection, backups, disaster recovery, and incident response.
• - Prepare and support internal/external IT audits and enforce best-practice security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).

IT Operations & Infrastructure

• - Oversee IT support services, network and server infrastructure (on-prem & cloud), backup systems, and endpoint lifecycle.
• - Manage ITSM processes, SLAs, and user satisfaction programs.

Project Management & Transformation Delivery

• - Drive the planning and execution of strategic IT projects across departments.
• - Manage external vendors and consultants, ensuring delivery meets agreed scope, timeline, cost, and quality.

Vendor & Budget Management

• - Define vendor selection strategy, negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, and lead performance scoring.
• - Lead annual IT budgeting process, ensuring cost optimization and investment in scalable technologies.

Change Management & Stakeholder Communication

• - Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving technology adoption and organizational readiness.
• - Promote transparent communication of IT priorities, risks, and success metrics.

3. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (Master’s is a plus)

Experience

10+ years in enterprise IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing SAP environments and digital transformation

Languages

Fluent Arabic & English

Certifications

ITIL, PMP, or SAP Certification preferred; ISO 27001 or cybersecurity-related certs a plus
