Job Position: Senior Instrumentation Designer

Location: Office-Based (Qatar)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation Designer to support the NOC project. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in instrumentation & control (I&C) design, particularly within offshore environments. This role requires strong technical capability, hands-on experience with design software, and the ability to deliver high-quality detailed engineering and as-built documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare instrumentation design drawings, layouts, and documentation for offshore facilities.
• Produce detailed design packages, including hookup drawings, loop diagrams, wiring layouts, instrument index, and cable schedules.
• Review and update as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of instrumentation deliverables with project requirements.
• Support engineering reviews, technical discussions, and design clarifications.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to industry codes, project specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
• Utilize relevant design tools to develop accurate and efficient design outputs.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Control design and engineering.
• Proven experience working on offshore projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with 10–12 years of hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated capability in Detailed Design and As-built documentation.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge and experience with AVEVA design tools.
• Experience using ICAD (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
