Senior Interior Designer

Job Overview
Seeking an experienced interior designer to assist the owner with various duties.

Responsibilities

• develop design concepts for projects
• Create 3D drawings for client conceptualization
• prepare floor plans, detailed elevations, lighting plans, and custom millwork drawings using autocad
• selection of all FF&E
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently through strong project management skills.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and clients during renovation and remodeling phases to ensure designs are realized accurately within construction timelines.
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation processes during construction or remodeling projects.
• Prepare proposals, and budgets

Skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & InDesign) for visualizations and presentations And Google suite
• Experience with design files
• Strong drafting skills with an eye for detail in creating accurate technical drawings and construction documents.
• Deep understanding of interior design principles including space planning, color theory, lighting design, and material selection.
• Experience in project management from concept development through installation — including budgeting and scheduling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of construction practices to oversee site work confidently; experience in working with contractors during renovation projects is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
