Senior Interior Designer ID

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with strong, proven experience in high-rise tower interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership capability, technical excellence, and the ability to deliver high-quality design solutions from concept through completion. Relevant high-rise experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development of interior design concepts aligned with client vision, project briefs, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee space planning, material selection, finishes, mood boards, and color schemes to ensure cohesive and functional design outcomes.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate detailed design documentation, including 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentation materials.
• Ensure seamless integration of lighting, furniture, finishes, and materials across all interior environments.
• Present design proposals, concepts, and mood boards confidently to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback where required.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and smooth execution.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and mock-ups to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure quality and accuracy of implementation.
• Manage procurement coordination for interior materials and FF&E with suppliers and vendors.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior designers, ensuring high-quality output and professional development.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, approvals, and design records throughout all project phases.
• Monitor project progress and report regularly to the Design & Planning Manager on timelines, risks, resources, and deliverables.
• Participate in value engineering exercises, proposing cost-effective design solutions without compromising quality or aesthetics.
• Ensure all design deliverables comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, sustainability practices, and local codes.
• Coordinate closely with the Lead Interior Designer and perform additional duties as required.

Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, trends, and applicable codes.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Strong design sensibility with excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness.
• Proven leadership, team management, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong presentation and client-facing capabilities.
• Analytical, problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Hands-on experience in high-rise interior fit-out projects is highly preferred.
• Valid UPDA Registration is mandatory.
• Consultancy background or prior experience within a design consultancy is preferred.
