Senior Interior Designer / Interior Architecture

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team and work closely with the Founder and Design Director on the development and execution of high-end residential projects throughout Chicago and the North Shore. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional organization, and a passion for translating design concepts into beautifully realized homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Founder and Design Director on the development and execution of high-end residential interiors
• Produce detailed architectural AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, interior elevations, and design documentation
• Prepare and maintain FF&E schedules, specifications, and project documentation
• Research and source furnishings, lighting, materials, finishes, and custom pieces from luxury vendors and showrooms
• Obtain and organize vendor quotes, pricing, and lead times
• Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets and tracking costs throughout the design process
• Prepare polished client presentations including mood boards, material palettes, and design concepts
• Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, fabricators, architects, and contractors
• Manage sample orders, finish selections, and the studio material library
• Assist with site visits, installations, and project coordination
• Maintain organized project files and assist with project schedules and timelines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience producing drawing sets and detailed design documentation
• Strong knowledge of luxury furnishings, finishes, and vendor resources
• Experience with FF&E schedules, sourcing, vendor quotes, and budgeting
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• Valid driver’s license and access to a car for site visits and showroom sourcing within Chicago
• Portfolio demonstrating high-end residential work
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Pay: $73,152.83 - $80,000.00 per year
