We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team and work closely with the Founder and Design Director on the development and execution of high-end residential projects throughout Chicago and the North Shore. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional organization, and a passion for translating design concepts into beautifully realized homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Founder and Design Director on the development and execution of high-end residential interiors
- Produce detailed architectural AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, interior elevations, and design documentation
- Prepare and maintain FF&E schedules, specifications, and project documentation
- Research and source furnishings, lighting, materials, finishes, and custom pieces from luxury vendors and showrooms
- Obtain and organize vendor quotes, pricing, and lead times
- Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets and tracking costs throughout the design process
- Prepare polished client presentations including mood boards, material palettes, and design concepts
- Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, fabricators, architects, and contractors
- Manage sample orders, finish selections, and the studio material library
- Assist with site visits, installations, and project coordination
- Maintain organized project files and assist with project schedules and timelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience producing drawing sets and detailed design documentation
- Strong knowledge of luxury furnishings, finishes, and vendor resources
- Experience with FF&E schedules, sourcing, vendor quotes, and budgeting
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car for site visits and showroom sourcing within Chicago
- Portfolio demonstrating high-end residential work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Pay: $73,152.83 - $80,000.00 per year
