Role Overview
The Senior IT Business Analyst – Factory Systems is the strategic IT partner to Manufacturing and Operations leadership. This role is responsible for driving alignment between business objectives and factory technology strategy, with deep expertise in Siemens Opcenter (MES) and Oracle EBS (Manufacturing, BOM, WIP, Quality modules, Automation).
The business analyst will own the roadmap, governance, and continuous improvement of factory systems, ensuring seamless integration between shop-floor execution and enterprise planning while enabling scalable digital manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership

Serve as the primary IT interface for Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain leadership.

Align system capabilities with operational KPIs (yield, cycle time, OEE, traceability, cost control).

Drive prioritization of enhancements and transformation initiatives.
Factory Systems Leadership (Core Focus)

Provide functional and technical leadership for:

Siemens Opcenter (MES)
-
Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules (BOM, WIP, Inventory, Quality, Costing)

Ensure robust integration between Opcenter and Oracle EBS for:

Production orders
-
Material transactions
-
Traceability
-
Quality data synchronization
-
Shop-floor reporting
-
Standardize manufacturing processes across plants through system harmonization.

Lead upgrades, enhancements, and performance optimization initiatives.

Manage release governance and change control for plant system deployments.
Digital Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
-
Enhance real-time production visibility and analytics across factories.

Improve manufacturing data accuracy between MES and ERP.

Enable traceability, genealogy, and compliance reporting.

Support automation and future Industry 4.0 initiatives leveraging Opcenter data.

Drive reduction in manual transactions and system inefficiencies.
Governance, Risk & Compliance

Ensure secure architecture between MES (Opcenter) and Oracle EBS.

Maintain audit-ready manufacturing data controls (SOX, ISO, regulatory standards).

Establish structured incident and problem management processes.
Program & Vendor Management
-
Lead multi-site deployments and enhancements involving Siemens and Oracle.
-
Manage external system integrators and vendor relationships.
-
Drive SLA accountability and measurable performance improvements.
Required Qualifications
-
15+ years of IT experience with significant focus on manufacturing systems.
-
5+ years of direct leadership experience supporting factory operations.

Deep functional and integration experience with:

Siemens Opcenter (MES)
-
Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules
-
Strong understanding of ERP–MES integration architecture.
-
Experience supporting global or multi-site manufacturing operations.

Proven track record delivering complex system implementations.

Strong understanding of manufacturing data flows and shop-floor processes.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in semiconductor, optics, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing.

Experience in Opcenter upgrades or Oracle EBS manufacturing transformations.

Exposure to analytics, automation, or AI in manufacturing environments.

Lean / Six Sigma familiarity.

Pay Range:
P80-USA-1 :$145,550.00 - $207,900.00
