We're launching an innovative IT talent placement agency specializing in connecting elite Indian developers with remote opportunities at US-based companies. Think of us as a boutique staffing firm with a tech-first approach.
The Opportunity
This isn't your typical recruiting role. You'll wear two hats:
- External: Finding and closing clients (US companies needing developers)
- Internal: Understanding our developer pool and matching them to client needs
You'll be instrumental in building something from the ground up, with direct impact on revenue and company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition (70% of role):
- Prospect and qualify US-based companies seeking remote IT talent
- Conduct discovery calls to understand technical requirements, budgets, and timelines
- Present our value proposition: cost savings, quality talent, risk-free trials
- Negotiate terms: hourly rates, contract length, payment terms, SLAs
- Close deals and onboard new clients onto our platform
- Target: 2-3 new client acquisitions per month
Talent Matching & Account Management (30% of role):
- Understand our developer capabilities, tech stacks, and availability
- Match developers to client requirements (technical skills + cultural fit)
- Facilitate interviews between clients and developers
- Manage client expectations and ensure successful placements
- Maintain ongoing relationships for repeat placements and referrals
Market Development:
- Research high-demand IT skills in US market (AI/ML, DevOps, Full-stack, etc.)
- Identify target industries and company sizes with highest conversion rates
- Build lead generation strategies and outreach campaigns
- Represent company at virtual events, webinars, and networking forums
Who You Are
Essential Qualifications:
- 4-6 years in IT recruitment or staffing, with at least 2 years focused on international clients (US/UK/Canada)
- Track record of revenue generation - you've closed deals worth ₹50L+ annually
- Deep understanding of software development roles: Full-stack, Backend, Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, QA
- Experience with ATS systems, CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), and recruitment platforms
- Exceptional communication skills - you can talk tech with engineers and business with executives
- Proactive and self-directed - we need a go-getter, not an order-taker
Bonus Points:
- Experience in contract staffing or staff augmentation models
- Understanding of US employment laws, visa types (H1B, L1), and remote work regulations
- Existing database of US hiring managers or HR contacts
- Familiarity with Indian IT outsourcing landscape
- Previous experience with startups or building 0-to-1 initiatives
