Job Description Summary
To manage and Lead the provision of Technology Services supporting all LBGs systems and services, meeting the needs of the wider group and enabling LBG to be the best bank for customers. Providing effective and efficient leadership for a comprehensive and complex, high customer focused function and defining and contributing to the strategic direction of the area. Supports the wider group and works with multiple stakeholders, by providing deep technical expertise, and leads the group in the resolution of service related and management issues, ensuring appropriate technical prioritisation. Able to continually develop themselves with industry best practice methods and tooling used across their teams. Defines policy and standards specific to role, ensuring compliance in line with appropriate risk management and reporting in line with group strategy & values.
Job Description
Develops and/or delivers budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.
Manages key client and customer relationships, typically by using account teams to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty toward the organisation.
Takes responsibility for implementing formal development frameworks for a substantial department, while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development.
Initiates, formulates and implements new business practices for own discipline, while managing the development and/or delivery of a significant element of the organisation's change management programme.
Manages output delivery for a substantial operational department by leading others.
Sets longer term objectives and takes responsibility for implementing and coordinating performance management systems for a substantial department within the organisation.
Builds complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.
Develops and/or delivers a plan and outcomes for an operational area with guidance from senior colleagues.
Develops functional or operational policies and participates in developing policy frameworks for area of responsibility or department, creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation within the organisation.
Makes a significant improvement on short-term or long-term business performance by recommending authoritative technical and/or professional solutions.
Monitors and manages a wide range of activities of a significant team ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by liaising with all internal risk management functions while supporting the development and implementation of the organisation's compliance policy.
Manages a significant portion of the organisation's risk management and/or control process, contributing to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
Develops innovative solutions by integrating and analysing complex and diverse information sources.
Manages the development and/or delivery of an element of the organisation's strategic planning.
Makes sure that a portfolio of major suppliers are delivering required levels of service to fulfil the organisation's overall supplier management strategy.
