Job Title: IT Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Setup & Configuration
- Install and configure PCs, laptops, and software applications.
- Set up printers, scanners, and other office devices.
- Perform system updates, backups, and basic troubleshooting.
- Phone & Extension Management
- Configure phone extensions and VoIP systems.
- Maintain call logs and coordinate with service providers.
- Troubleshoot phone and communication issues.
- Email Management
- Create and manage staff email accounts.
- Handle password resets, access configurations, and storage management.
- Ensure email compliance and proper usage.
- Group Communication
- Manage internal communication platforms like WhatsApp and Teams.
- Update user access and ensure proper group usage.
- Support internal team coordination.
- Equipment & Asset Management
- Issue, track, and recover laptops, phones, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain inventory logs and repair records.
- CRM & System Support
- Provide access, training, and troubleshooting support for CRM systems.
- Ensure proper use and confidentiality of organizational data.
- Documentation & Inventory
- Maintain records of IT assets, software licenses, and logs.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff.
- Manage IT consumables.
- Security & Compliance
- Enforce password policies, firewall settings, and antivirus protection.
- Monitor system access and data security.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Network & Internet
- Maintain Wi-Fi and LAN connections.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Ensure secure and stable internet access across the organization.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good communication skills for user support and coordination.
- Awareness of cybersecurity and data protection practices.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Familiarity with CRM, VoIP systems, and office productivity tools.
