About the Role

El Patio Engineering Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Landscape Draftsman to support the preparation of high-quality drawings and documentation for park, public realm, and landscape infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, full understanding of landscape detailing, and experience working within UAE authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed landscape drawings, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation layouts, and sections.

Convert concept sketches and design inputs into accurate technical drawings.

Produce CAD plans, shop-drawing-level details, planting plans, material schedules, and construction details.

Coordinate drawing requirements with landscape architects, civil, MEP, and structural teams.

Ensure compliance with DMT/ADM, ADQCC, and authority standards for submissions.

Update drawings based on designer/engineer comments and authority feedback.

Maintain drawing accuracy, layer standards, and file organization.

Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and drawing packages.

Requirements

Diploma or certification in Drafting / Landscape Technology / Civil Engineering.

5–8 years of drafting experience, preferably within the UAE.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (expert level).

Knowledge of Photoshop, SketchUp, and MS Office is an advantage.

Solid understanding of landscape details, levels, site coordination, and material specifications.

Familiarity with authority submission requirements (ADM/DMT) preferred.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple project tasks.
