Senior Legal Assistant

Franklin D. Azar & Associates is seeking a Full-Time Lead Legal Assistant to join our Aurora, CO office. This position offers a rewarding path for a seasoned legal professional seeking to provide meaningful impact to a top Colorado Firm.

Pay:

$26.50 – $31.25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who brings at least 4 years of experience in personal injury law and thrives in a high-volume environment. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, inquisitive, and takes ownership of timelines and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary support to a Senior Attorney
• Handle daily mail intake, case correspondence, and provider communications
• Schedule appointments, deadlines, and follow-ups with clients and providers
• Maintain organized digital and physical case files
• Track incoming and outgoing records, bills, and documentation
• Proactively identify case needs and next steps to keep files moving forward
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, providers, and internal teams
• Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and other departments as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• 4+ years of legal assistant experience in a personal injury law firm
• Strong knowledge of pre-litigation processes
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, calendaring, and document management systems
• Able to handle a high-volume caseload with accuracy and professionalism
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to ask questions and clarify when needed
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
