Senior Legal Counsel, Corporate Investments, Qatar

Taylor Root is exclusively partnering with an international client to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel or Legal Counsel (Corporate/M&A) to join their expanding legal function in Doha. Based just north of Doha in the modern city of Lusail, this is a high‑impact role within a global private equity and investment management environment, supporting a diverse portfolio and working closely with the General Counsel.

The role will best suit an experienced lawyer, between 4-8 PQE from either a private practice or in-house environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Advising on transactions and investments across private equity, M&A, and venture capital.
• Handling general commercial issues on a day to day basis across portfolio companies.
• Have international oversight across investments and business partners worldwide.

Who you’ll likely need to be in order to succeed:

• 4+ PQE from a common or civil law jurisdiction (EU lawyers, particularly Dutch are very much encouraged).
• Broad spread of corporate and commercial work, ideally across investment platforms.
• Previous Middle East experience is not needed and overseas applications are welcome.
