We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager to lead business development initiatives for our suite of digital solutions tailored for ports and customs authorities, including our flagship Port Community System (PCS) and Customs Management System (CMS). This role is pivotal in driving global market expansion, forging strategic partnerships, and positioning our solutions as industry benchmarks in trade facilitation and digital transformation.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities globally, focusing on port authorities & operators, customs agencies, and logistics stakeholders.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for PCS and CMS solutions.
- Lead market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, port operators, customs authorities, and international trade organizations.
- Conduct high-level presentations and solution demonstrations to prospective clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close complex deals involving multi-stakeholder environments.
Solution Expertise & Innovation
- Act as a subject matter expert on PCS and CMS, understanding technical capabilities, regulatory requirements, and operational challenges.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align client needs with solution development.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure solutions remain compliant and competitive.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Establish strategic alliances with technology providers, system integrators, and consulting firms.
- Represent the company at global trade and logistics forums, conferences, and exhibitions.
Performance & Reporting
- Define KPIs and track performance against business development goals.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
Other
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in digital solutions for ports, customs, or logistics.
- Proven track record of closing large-scale deals and managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Deep understanding of port operations, customs procedures, and international trade facilitation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital platforms such as PCS, CMS, Single Window Systems, or Trade Facilitation Portals.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with international organizations such as WCO, IMO, UNCTAD, or WTO.
