Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Job Purpose:


Lead the FP&A function for Modon Communities by driving strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across all business segments. The role holder partners with senior leadership to align financial insight with organizational objectives, champions best-in-class FP&A practices and spearhead the digitization of financial dashboards to enable data-driven decision making.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Planning : Lead the preparation of 5-year business plans, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts; ensure alignment with business objectives and shareholder expectations.


  • Performance Management : Monitor actual performance vs. budget/forecast; prepare performance insights with actionable insights for leadership.


  • Business Partnering : Collaborate with asset managers, segment heads, and operational leaders to translate business drivers into financial outcomes.


  • Initiatives & Projects : Drive strategic initiatives such as cost optimization, efficiency programs, capital allocation, and funding analysis.


  • Best Practices : Introduce globally recognized FP&A practices (driver-based planning, scenario modelling, zero-based budgeting, predictive forecasting) to enhance effectiveness.


  • Digitization & Reporting : Lead the design and implementation of automated dashboards and visualization tools (Power BI) in partnership with Group IT; deliver real-time insights to management.


  • Governance & Standards : Ensure FP&A processes follow group governance, policies, and control frameworks while maintaining agility and responsiveness.


  • Leadership & Capability Building : Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team; instill strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and business acumen.


Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; Master’s (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • Professional certification: CFA, CGMA, or CPA/ACCA required.


Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in senior FP&A leadership roles within large diversified or asset-intensive organizations.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, forecasting, scenario modeling, and decision support.
  • Strong exposure to ERP (Oracle Fusion) and advanced data visualization tools (Power BI).
