IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The position is responsible for handling land-related litigation at the Head Office and in the South region, while leading the South legal team and overseeing all associated litigation matters.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Responsible for managing all litigation at South and HQ. Liaison with external counsels and internal stakeholders
• Case management and attending court hearings along with external counsels.
• Rendering opinions on complex legal issues pertaining to land disputes, eviction matters, applicability of service regulations, and other employee related queries / issues.
• Providing support to Director Litigation and prompt action on all matters assigned during the course of business.
• Vetting contracts pertaining to P&O, estate and services department. Verification of land documents and coordination with land revenue departments.
• Maintain a comprehensive database tracking the status of all court matters involving the Company, ensuring transparency and efficiency in legal processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

QUALIFICATION

• Master’s degree in the field of Law. (Bar Vocational Course) will be preferred
• 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of Telecom sector and hands on experience of litigation especially land litigation.

COMPETENCIES

• Litigation expertise,
• Knowledge of land litigation, contracts drafting and vetting
• Expert in court proceedings and procedures
• MS Office
