Senior Manager Nursing

The Senior Manager Nursing is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of nurses and healthcare staff. This role involves administrative, clinical, and leadership duties to maintain efficient workflows, compliance with healthcare regulations, and staff development.

Job Requirements:

BSN / Post RN BSN with 10 to 12 years experience with leading (JCI / Accreditation Canada accredited) hospitals.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervising, mentoring, and evaluating nursing staff, and ensuring placement in hospitals based on patient’s workload and standards.
2. Ensuring high-quality patient care, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
3. Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures and JCI/ Accreditation Canada standards.
4. Provide nursing leadership and a vision for the nursing team while role modelling a team-based approach to continuous improvement and planned care.
5. Leading quality improvement initiatives, conducting regular rounds, and addressing patient and family concerns.
6. Advocating for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed, and promoting a patient centered approach to care.
