The Sr. Manager/Manager of Production is responsible for managing all production activities in a cost-effective way, ensuring
efficient processes, and maintaining high standards in the manufacturing of KDW, Home and Office Furniture,
NPD, Mocks and project-related products.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute monthly and quarterly production schedules in line with business targets, giving priority to urgent, complaint-related, mock, NPD, and NPD Zero Batch orders.

Ensure timely achievement of production targets for both stock and custom orders while meeting delivery commitments.

Coordinate with R&D, QC, and Technical teams to obtain necessary approvals for NPD Zero Batch items before initiating large-scale production.

Lead the implementation of a Capacity Resource Planning system in partnership with Technical and IT teams to enhance productivity and optimize operational efficiency.

Manage day-to-day production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and adherence to scheduled production timelines.

Introduce and oversee the use of project management tools and AI technologies to automate workflows, streamline operations, and reduce manual interventions.

Monitor and control production costs, ensuring alignment with budgeted targets and maintaining operations within break-even thresholds.

Implement strategies to reduce rework and wastage, ensuring adherence to QC benchmarks and improving overall production throughput.

Collaborate with the IT department to integrate AI-driven dashboards and reporting tools for real-time performance monitoring and decision-making.

Work closely with the Head of Technical to ensure smooth onboarding of new orders into the production cycle without delays or quality issues.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and leadership development through structured succession planning across all production units
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's in Operations/Production Management is preferred

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in production planning and operations, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Proficiency in production workflows, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, and ERP systems; familiarity with AI tools and project management software is a strong advantage

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate production data, manage budgets, and drive process optimization while ensuring quality

Effective leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration and talent development

Proven track record of implementing automation solutions and digital tools to streamline operations and minimize manual intervention
