Job Description Summary

As a commercial real estate strategy analyst, you would be the backbone of the Transactions team. You are part of a team with a wide range of responsibilities including creating client pitches, real estate financial modeling, and maintaining and being the custodian of all real estate databases.

About the Role:

  • Proposal & Strategy Support: Assist in developing responses to RFPs and creating strategic client presentations by gathering information, developing templates, and formulating initial strategy drafts in collaboration with the transaction team. Maintain a database of past responses and strategies.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including rent comparisons, lease cost analysis, cash flow modeling (NPV, IRR), using frameworks and inputs provided by the transaction team. Prepare insightful reports and presentations based on findings.
  • Demographic & Location Analysis: Analyze potential office locations' impact on employee commutes, provide recommendations, and prepare detailed reports using provided data and frameworks.
  • Market Research: Collate market data, prepare quarterly office market overviews, analyze local market trends, identify new leasing opportunities through targeted research, and monitor market conditions.
  • Business Development Support: Gather market intelligence from data platforms and identify potential renewal clients to support the transaction team's business development efforts.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) market and fundamentals.
  • Strong commitment to quality, orientation to details
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT and Word)
  • Solid working knowledge of financial modeling concepts (Cash Flows, NPV, IRR) and their application.
  • Proven ability to create clear, concise, and visually appealing PPTs.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to adapt to quickly changing and demanding environment.
