To lead and execute the overall marketing strategy of the mall, driving footfall, strengthening brand image, increasing customer engagement, and supporting leasing efforts through innovative campaigns, events, and digital platforms.


Main Duties & Responsibilities


· Develop and Manage Annual Marketing Calendar: Plan and update a yearly marketing calendar with mall-wide campaigns, seasonal events, and special initiatives.

· Execute and Oversee Events & Activations: Manage 6–10 strategic events annually to attract visitors and animate various areas within the mall.

· Support Specialty Leasing and Tenant Promotion: Collaborate with internal stakeholders by driving traffic to underperforming zones and activating kiosks.

· Drive Footfall and Customer Traffic: Implement marketing campaigns and activations that support a daily footfall target increase.

· Strengthen Mall Positioning and Brand Perception: Rebrand and reposition the Mall as a modern, desirable mall.

· Manage Social Media Growth and Content Strategy: Plan and manage creative content for social media channels and increase engagement.

· Oversee Website and Digital Presence: Track and improve website metrics (traffic, bounce rate, session duration).

· Lead Mobile App Development: Oversee the launch of the mall’s mobile app, ensuring it is useful and engaging.

· Handle Agency and Supplier Relations: Coordinate with marketing, production, and media agencies for campaign execution.

· Execute Media Buying and Paid Campaigns: Budget and plan media buying campaigns and track performance.

· Manage Public Relations Efforts & Launch Events: Lead PR responsibilities such as launching campaigns and drafting press releases.

· Administrative and Team Oversight: Manage a small internal team and supervise timelines, reporting, and agency deliverables.

· Reporting and Strategic Recommendations: Prepare annual performance summaries and presentations for senior management.


Skills


Technical & Marketing Expertise

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans for large retail environments.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing , including SEO, SEM, social media management, and influencer campaigns.
  • Experience in event planning and activations to drive footfall and enhance customer engagement.
  • Familiarity with media buying , budget management , and campaign performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and ability to interpret data for decision-making.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent leadership skills to manage internal teams and external agencies.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
  • Ability to present marketing strategies and performance reports to senior management effectively.

Creative & Innovative Thinking

  • Ability to conceptualize unique campaigns and experiences that differentiate the mall from competitors.
  • Awareness of retail trends and customer engagement strategies.

Digital & Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems , marketing automation tools , and website management .
  • Understanding of mobile app development and loyalty program integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or a related field of study
  • 5+ years' of marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
