Senior Materials Engineer

An international consultancy company are seeking a qualified Senior Materials Engineer to join our team on a prestigious international airport project in East Africa (Ethiopia) .

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all materials-related activities on site.
• Review and approve materials submittals, specifications, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with design, quality, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with laboratories and oversee materials testing and inspection procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience , including major infrastructure or airport projects.
• Strong background in materials testing, quality control, and compliance .
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Previous experience in international or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in English Language.
