Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing mechanical systems and components while ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to production.
• Create 2D and 3D designs using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and thermal simulations.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, electrical, and manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.
• Review and improve existing designs to optimize performance and cost.
• Mentor junior engineers and support design review processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.).
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Technical Proficiency:
• CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).
• FEA/CFD analysis tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
