Job Description:

Carries out other given task/instructions from Head of Maintenance Division.

Reviews shop drawings, material submittals and construction submittals.

Reviews and approves monthly duty roster of his team to maintain standardization of time sheet management align with the budget.

Verifies that all mechanical designs, drawings and documents are to current UAE authorities and standards and in accordance with NIGM policies and manuals.

Organizes and manages the work engineers and draftsmen allocated and provides relevant engineering works support and/or advice to projects team and other department as applicable.

Provides assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and purchase orders.

Implements specific Mechanical engineering design works, as applicable in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within NIGM.

Adheres to all rules and regulations as per company IMS system.

Prepares or reviews budgets based on expenditures and scope of work/project.

Provides and plan technical training and development to employees as needed for an effective and productive team.

Liaises as directed with Client, consulting engineers, authorities and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of work program of the assigned projects/works.

Ability in delivering effective and engaging presentation to a variety of audiences, such as the structure of the presentation, designs of the slides and the tone of the voice. Excellent in critical thinking, data research and communication.

Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-
7–10 years of Sr. Mechanical Engineering experience with at least 5 years in the GCC region.

Experience in leading teams and managing multiple engineering projects.
-
Professional certification (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent) is an advantage.
