Our client, a global GCC family office which has a substantial real estate portfolio, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager to join its MENA investments team. Reporting directly to the Head of Middle East Investments, the role offers significant autonomy overseeing a diversified real estate portfolio across the region
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end oversight and performance optimisation of a diversified real estate portfolio across hospitality, office, commercial, residential, and land assets in the MENA region

Manage and coordinate on-site property managers, facility managers, and service providers, ensuring consistent operating standards, tenant satisfaction, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions

Conduct regular site visits and operational reviews, translating findings into actionable improvement plans with clear accountability and timelines

Develop, maintain, and challenge detailed asset-level and portfolio-level financial models, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analysis

Support valuation processes by pressure-testing assumptions, reviewing third-party appraisals, and ensuring alignment with market evidence and asset performance

Build and deliver robust reporting frameworks, including monthly dashboards, KPIs, and performance summaries to support data-driven decision-making

Identify and execute value-creation initiatives such as asset repositioning, capital expenditure planning, re-tenanting strategies, and operational improvements

Provide market intelligence and strategic insights on rents, occupancy, yields, and regulatory developments across MENA markets

Support due diligence for acquisitions, disposals, and development opportunities, coordinating financial, technical, and legal workstreams
Qualifications:

8–12 years of experience in real estate asset management, portfolio management, or professional services (valuation, audit, or transactions) with meaningful exposure to GCC and MENA real estate markets

Proven track record managing diverse real estate asset classes, including hospitality, commercial, residential, office, and land assets

Strong technical foundation in accounting and advanced real estate financial modelling, with the ability to critically assess valuations and challenge assumptions

Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders, including property managers, tenants, advisors, and internal investment teams

Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style with the ability to operate independently in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment

Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders

Strong academic background; bachelor’s degree required

Fluency in Arabic is strongly preferred
