Senior MEP Engineer

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Design: Lead the design and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for fitout and construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and UAE regulations.
• Drawing & Documentation: Prepare, review, and approve detailed MEP drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.
• Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall project design.
• Site Supervision & Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, compliance with designs, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor MEP engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors; assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
• Technical Support & Problem-Solving: Provide on-site guidance and technical solutions to resolve complex MEP issues efficiently.
• Project Monitoring: Track project timelines, budgets, and resources; ensure MEP work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all MEP activities meet UAE codes, standards, and safety regulations; implement preventive measures to avoid delays or rework.
• Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide updates, clarify technical aspects, and manage expectations.
• Innovation & Sustainability: Recommend energy-efficient and sustainable solutions to optimize building performance and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering
• Proven track record of 10+ years in UAE fitout or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other engineering software
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
