Senior MEP Mechanical Engineer

Due to fast growth and launching new projects, we are looking for Senior MEP Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and supervise mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Perform cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and duct/pipe sizing.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams for integrated MEP solutions.
• Monitor site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, method statements, and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6 - 8 years of experience in MEP mechanical works within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC) and local regulations.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or high-rise building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Ability to perform load calculations and equipment selection.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
