Senior Merchandiser

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly professional Senior Merchandiser to manage key buyer accounts and oversee the complete merchandising cycle in our textile manufacturing facility. The candidate will act as a bridge between buyers and internal departments while ensuring cost efficiency, timely production, and high-quality execution of orders. This role requires leadership ability, strong industry knowledge, and excellent decision-making skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end merchandising process from inquiry to final shipment for multiple buyer accounts.
  • Lead communication with international buyers regarding orders, pricing, and development.
  • Supervise and guide merchandising team to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Analyze cost sheets and negotiate pricing with buyers and vendors for maximum profitability.
  • Coordinate closely with production, planning, and quality assurance teams for timely delivery.
  • Oversee sample development, approval process, and bulk production readiness.
  • Monitor order status, production bottlenecks, and proactively resolve critical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer standards, audits, and quality requirements.
  • Develop strong business relationships with existing buyers and support business growth.
  • Job Requirements:
  • MBA degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
  • 5–10 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in a textile manufacturing/export unit.
  • Strong knowledge of knit/woven garments, costing, and production planning.
  • Proven ability to handle key accounts and large volume orders independently.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making under pressure.
  • Advanced MS Excel and ERP system knowledge preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs145,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
