The Senior Multimedia Designer (Web, Automation & AI) plays a pivotal role within the Sherborne Qatar Marketing and Admissions team. This is a senior creative and digital specialist position responsible for translating Sherborne’s marketing vision into compelling visual storytelling and high-impact digital experiences.
This role goes beyond traditional graphic design. The successful candidate will combine exceptional creative ability with strong technical expertise across website design and development, digital user experience, marketing automation systems, and emerging AI technologies.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Admissions, the Senior Multimedia Designer brings strategic marketing initiatives to life through powerful design, engaging multimedia content, and seamless digital user journeys. The role leads the creative execution of campaigns, website design and development, publications, digital advertising, social media content, and major school communications, ensuring full alignment with Sherborne’s global brand standards.
In addition to creative leadership, the role takes primary ownership of Sherborne’s digital marketing infrastructure. This includes the development, design, and ongoing optimisation of the school websites, landing pages, CRM integrations, marketing automations, and data-driven digital systems that support admissions and marketing objectives. The Senior Multimedia Designer ensures that Sherborne’s digital platforms are visually compelling, technically robust, and optimized for user experience and conversion.
This role requires a highly creative, digitally fluent and forward-thinking professional who is comfortable working at the intersection of design, technology and marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Leadership
A. Brand Visual Identity
- Define, develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity for the Sherborne Family of Schools in Qatar and across the MENA region that aligns with Sherborne’s global brand standards and endorsement guidelines.
- Ensure consistency across all branding touchpoints including websites, social media platforms, advertising campaigns, publications, and print materials.
- Design and oversee the production of creative assets including brochures, presentations, digital advertising, school booklets likeprospectuses, welcome packs, signage, wall wraps and branded multimedia content.
- Ensure all creative outputs reflect Sherborne’s heritage, values and educational excellence while maintaining strong brand integrity.
- Oversee the branding and visual design of key publications including prospectuses, welcome packs, annual reports, The Shirburnian and major school communications.
B. Creative Strategy and Campaigns
- Translate marketing and campaign strategies into compelling visual communication across digital and print platforms.
- Deliver creative concepts that support the strategic vision of the Sherborne leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop visual narratives that resonate with prospective families and strengthen Sherborne’s brand positioning.
- Participate actively in marketing strategy discussions and creative brainstorming sessions.
- Provide creative direction for photography, videography and multimedia content production.
- Guide photographers and videographers on visual storytelling to ensure brand alignment.
2. Website Design and Digital Experience
- Lead the design, structure and ongoing development of Sherborne’s websites to ensure they are visually engaging, user-friendly and aligned with Sherborne’s global brand identity.
- Design landing pages and website content structures that support marketing campaigns and improve conversion from enquiry to application.
- Apply UX and UI design principles to enhance user navigation, readability and engagement.
- Manage and update website content across custom CMS platforms.
- Work closely with web developers, hosting providers and external agencies to ensure optimal website performance and functionality.
- Maintain strong awareness of SEO best practices and ensure website content is optimised for search visibility.

- Work with other designers in the team in the creation of multimedia content including videos, animations, graphics and digital storytelling assets.

- Develop visually engaging content for marketing campaigns, events, school announcements and promotional initiatives.

CRM Management and Integration
- Support the configuration and optimisation of marketing and admissions systems such as Monday.com to streamline lead management, task allocation and workflow efficiency.

Person Specification
Essential
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication or a related creative discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior design or multimedia role.
- Exceptional creative ability with strong visual storytelling and design skills.
- Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
- Strong experience managing and designing websites using CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Working knowledge of AI tools and a mindset to continously upskill and learn new tools
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS.
- Experience using marketing automation platforms such as Monday.com, Make.com, Zapier or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design and productivity tools.
