Senior Network Operations Engineer

About the Role

Ensure accurate Network active and passive elements visibility, effective cost control, and data-driven decision-making by managing database build and enhancement , supporting budget governance, and enabling digital reporting and analytics across the network domains.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network asset performance and utilization to identify underutilized, idle, or high-risk assets and propose optimization actions.
• Coordinate with network operations teams to validate asset data accuracy and physical existence.
• Ensure proper tracking of asset warranties, maintenance contracts, and service history.
• Support preparation and consolidation of CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring alignment with operational plans and priorities.
• Track budget utilization versus plan, highlighting variances and potential risks.
• Perform detailed variance analysis (Planned vs. Actual vs. Forecast) with clear justification of deviations.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities by analyzing cost drivers, asset utilization, and operational inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain structured reports and dashboards covering asset performance, cost tracking, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
• Design and implement automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Support the implementation of data-driven and predictive approaches using digital tools and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Proven telecommunications network operations experience, covering active and passive network elements.
• Strong experience in database management, data analysis, and reporting.
• Coding and automation skills (e.g. SQL, Python, or similar).
• Experience in asset management, cost analysis, and budget tracking.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
