Senior Offshore Operations Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Offshore Operations Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing offshore operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage offshore operations, including drilling, production, and maintenance activities
• Optimize operational processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and reduce costs
• Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and offshore personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in offshore operations within the oil and gas industry
• In-depth knowledge of drilling, production, and maintenance processes and equipment
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Relevant certifications and licenses, such as PMP or PE, are preferred
