Senior O&M Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead and optimize our Electricity and Water Distribution Network operations. This role will oversee day-to-day O&M activities, network reliability, customer service performance, and regulatory compliance while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across all assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage O&M activities for electrical distribution (MV/LV) and water distribution systems across multiple service zones.
• Ensure the safe, reliable, and uninterrupted delivery of electricity and water services to customers.
• Coordinate with control centers for network switching, isolation, restoration, and outage management.
• Develop and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Oversee field inspections, asset condition assessments, and network improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs including, and maintenance performance.
• Lead root cause analysis of network failures and implement corrective actions.
• Lead multidisciplinary O&M teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Planning, HSE, Supply Chain, Customer Services).
• Maintain communication with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and service partners.
• Prepare annual O&M budgets, resource forecasts, and asset renewal proposals.
• Control operational expenditure and optimize resource allocation across regions.
• Drive initiatives focused on reliability improvement, energy efficiency, and water conservation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in utilities O&M, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role .
• Strong knowledge of distribution network operations , regulatory frameworks, and utility performance standards.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary field teams and contractors.
• Strong understanding of HSE practices , emergency response, and crisis management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
