Performs timely referral and intake coordination; including timely acceptance, patient registration, compiling and customer service.
As our Sr. PT Acct Assistant, you will be responsible for timely referral and intake coordination, including timely acceptance, patient registration, and customer service. Every day, you will efficiently perform patient scheduling for multiple clinical disciplines for Home Health and Hospice patients. You will effectively and proactively coordinate, communicate, and collaborate on intake and scheduled operations with patients, families, staff, and the leadership team. All your duties will be performed in strict accordance with compliance standards and reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence. To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive experience in healthcare administrative support, scheduling, or patient account coordination, preferably within Home Health or Hospice services. You will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail in patient registration and scheduling, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Job Requirements-
Two (2) years experience processing patient referrals containing demographic and clinical information.

Medical terminology and Excellent Customer Service experience.

Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Ability to work independently as needed with a high degree of detail orientation.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Preferred:

Experience in a home health or hospice setting.
