Senior Personnel Specialist

Cairo, Egypt

The Senior Personnel Specialist is responsible for overseeing personnel activities including employee records, contracts, attendance, leave management, social insurance, and labor office relations. The role ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies while supporting HR operations and providing guidance to junior personnel staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update employee files, contracts, renewals, and personnel records in accordance with labor law and company policies.
  • Handle employees’ social insurance processes (enrollment, updates, cancellations).
  • Ensure compliance with labor law requirements and follow up with government authorities (Labor Office, Social Insurance Office, etc.).
  • Monitor and process employee attendance, leaves, vacations, and penalties.
  • Prepare monthly reports related to headcount, turnover, leaves, and personnel KPIs.
  • Support payroll team with attendance and related data for salary preparation.
  • Draft HR letters, experience certificates, and employee documentation as required.
  • Handle employee queries regarding labor law, company policies, and personnel matters.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior personnel officers.
  • Participate in audits and ensure personnel documentation is complete and compliant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in personnel or HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
