Job Description:

We're searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our development team. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. This is a hands-on role where you'll be a key contributor and mentor, working on a project built on the Laravel framework.
Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of web applications.
• Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code in PHP using the Laravel framework.
• Coordinate directly with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
• Manage and optimize applications hosted on AWS EC2 instances.
• Refactor and optimize the existing codebase to improve system performance and architecture.
• Implement new features and enhancements based on client requests.
• Work with MySQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Collaborate with the team using Git and GitHub for version control.
• Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Extensive experience with the Laravel framework.
• Expertise in PHP, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EC2 or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub.
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client coordination.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a leadership or team lead role is highly preferred.
• Must be able to work in the EST timezone.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
