Job Purpose:

A senior planning engineer's primary purpose is to develop, manage, and monitor project schedules and plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This involves creating detailed schedules, identifying potential risks and delays, and implementing corrective actions. They also play a crucial role in coordinating project activities, analyzing progress, and reporting on project status to stakeholders.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop Detailed Schedules: Create comprehensive project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Establish Baselines: Set project baselines and milestones to measure progress.
• Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align schedules with project objectives.
• Track Performance: Monitor project performance against schedules and budgets.
• Generate Reports: Create and maintain dashboards and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Earned Value Management (EVM): Use EVM techniques to assess project health and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5-8 years of experience in same position
• An engineering background is preferred to be in the telecom field.
• Expert in Microsoft office package, Expert in scheduling software, PRIMAVERA, and MS project.
• Power Bi knowledge, PMP certification, PMI-SP certification
