About Your Team

Reporting to the Planning Manager , you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to create, manage, and monitor detailed project schedules. You’ll also provide mentorship to junior planning engineers and support strategic project decisions through accurate data and analysis.

Your Role

As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules including critical path analysis and resource loading.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to align planning efforts with overall project strategy.
• Monitor project progress, track deviations, and identify early warnings for potential delays.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to maintain timelines.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis on project performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure project controls align with technical specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements.
• Utilize Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools to manage and update planning data.
• Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims with robust data and documentation.
• Mentor and support junior planning engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

This is a full-time position following a Monday to Saturday work schedule, standard within the industry for site-based roles.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 12–15 years of experience in planning, scheduling, and project control within the oil & gas EPC industry .
• Proficiency in project planning tools, particularly Primavera P6 and MS Project .
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and provide strategic insights.
• Experience with EOT claim preparation is an advantage.
