Job Title: Logistics Manager (With Catering Experience)

Job Summary:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the entire logistics and supply chain operations of the organization. This role ensures the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods while optimizing costs and maintaining high service levels. The Logistics Manager supervises the logistics team, liaises with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments, and implements strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize supply chain operations.
• Plan and coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage logistics staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor inventory levels, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment to prevent delays or shortages.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with transporters, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance for management review.
• Resolve operational issues, shipment discrepancies, and customer complaints related to logistics.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a senior logistics/supply chain role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics or ERP software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
