Senior Planning Engineer - In Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead project scheduling, planning, and progress monitoring for large-scale projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas industries, ensuring project timelines and cost controls are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective action plans.
• Conduct time impact analysis (TIA) and support Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to align schedules with project objectives.
• Lead the preparation of baseline schedules, progress reports, and dashboards for management.
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid schedule deviations.
• Optimize resource allocation and track productivity to ensure efficient project execution.
• Review, validate, and provide recommendations on subcontractor schedules and reports.
• Participate in progress review meetings and provide scheduling insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, and Qatari regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a strong background in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with EOT claims, delay analysis, and cost control.
• Familiarity with Qatari construction laws and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
