Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer - Proposal

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
To review the Tenders/Bidding proposals scope, produce Tender/Bid Proposal plans & schedules, estimate resources (manpower/man-hours/trade disciplines/equipment), produce histograms/S-curves, Prepare Cost/Budgets, Analyze potential delays, implement corrective actions and prepare planning & schedule reports, risk registers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

B.E/ B.tech Degree in Mechanical/Civil/ Industrial

15-18 years total experience with Proposal

3–5 years offshore experience (MANDATORY)

Promote established policy and objectives throughout the department to increase awareness, motivation and involvement.

Ensure focus on customer requirements throughout the department.

Develop, maintain and manage Project plan and detailed schedules using Primavera-P6.

Ensure all planning activities comply with industry standards and company procedures.

Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.

Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management.

Report on the effect of changes, especially any negative changes to management.

Attend all company planning meetings and client planning meetings as directed.

Maintain accurate files of planning data both in hard copy and in software/programs including Primavera-P6, MS Project, Excel and Word.

Prepare the pre/post bid clarifications and their responses.

Operate and encourage a team working environment with colleagues and client personnel.
