Senior Planning Engineer - with High Rise Building Experience

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling, and progress control for complex projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, deep scheduling expertise, and the ability to work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Establish work breakdown structures (WBS), baseline schedules, and milestones
• Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance (critical path, float, delays)
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules
• Perform schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate planning activities with engineering, procurement, construction, and cost teams
• Support claims, extensions of time (EOT), and delay analysis when required
• Participate in project meetings and provide schedule input to management and clients
• Ensure planning standards and best practices are followed across projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
• 8+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory); MS Project is a plus
• Solid understanding of project controls, construction sequencing, and resource loading
• Experience with baseline development, progress measurement, and forecasting
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
