Position Summary:
Al-Haadi Mobilya is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Planning Executive – Factory Operations to oversee and streamline production planning, workflow scheduling, and inventory coordination at our manufacturing facility in Gajjumatta. The ideal candidate will ensure timely execution of production orders, optimal resource utilization, and effective communication across departments to meet delivery targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders and stock levels.
- Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust plans in case of delays or resource constraints.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP), lead times, and production output to ensure alignment with operational targets.
- Maintain detailed records of production planning, order tracking, and capacity utilization.
- Analyze production data and generate reports on output, efficiency, and bottlenecks.
- Ensure timely communication with relevant departments in case of priority changes or urgent orders.
- Collaborate with store and procurement teams for raw material planning and inventory control.
- Suggest improvements in planning processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational waste.
- Ensure alignment of planning processes with ERP or production management software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in production or factory planning, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of production workflows and resource planning.
- Proficient in MS Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or other production software).
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods.
- Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and material types.
- Familiarity with quality control and production KPIs.
