Senior Pricing Executive - Ocean Freight

JOB SUMMARY

• Coordination between commercial and relevant operations departments and responsible for updating clients on daily basis.
• Maintaining contacts with our global network offices for inbound and outbound cargo.
• Maintaining contact with our local vendors and service providers (shipping lines, airlines, transporters, etc) For inbound and outbound cargo.
• Make sure all the invoicing is completed and sent to the customers in timely manner considering the credit facilities agreed on contract.
• Performing a variety of tasks and utilise time management skills for meeting all goals and objectives during daily operations.
• Enhancing the relationship between DP WORLD LOGISTICS and existing customers portfolio by maintaining a friendly and professional approach with all clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

1. Responsible for procurement, prizing customer service and claims procedures within the DP WORLD LOGISTICS commercial department
2. Strong professional communication skills in order to deal with DP WORLD LOGISTICS clients informing them about status of shipments
3. Monitoring the daily emails and communications with both internally and external customers in order to make sure the circle of information is going on professionally and in a timely manner
4. Complete data entry into DP WORLD LOGISTICS various departments operating systems and CRM
5. Coordination with shipping lines,Co-loaders,Vendor and airline to source out the best pricing
6. resolve all customer complaints and enquiries and provide customers with the guidance required for order processing via appropriate level of communication maintained at all time
7. First and quality responses to any inquiries from customers, overseas agents and vendors in regards of shipments, Praising requests and questions related to fight forwarding
8. First point to three friends towards declines in regards of providing suitable advice and answering questions regarding best possible logistic solutions tailored to the cargo movements
9. Being responsible to provide supply chain proposals to ad hoc clients in order to provide a timely response to rate requests
10. communicate with origin and or destination officers and agents in regards of pricing requests and follow up daily for any pending jobs and inquiries until completed
11. lazy and coordination with suppliers and third party logistics vendors in order to arrange jobs outsourced to tinhem on behalf of DP WORLD LOGISTICS
12. Input data entry into DP WORLD LOGISTICS cargowise freight forwarding operations platform and CRM

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Essential Qualification: Graduate
• Work Experience: 5-7’ Experience in Ocean Freight Pricing
• Commercial experience and business acumen in communication as well relevant operating systems
• Well versed with cargowise
