Senior Procurement Manager

Lahore, Pakistan

Zameen.com is looking to recruit a skilled professional for its Senior Manager-Procurement who will be responsible for purchasing of all the goods and services a company needs. The employee will be identifying potential supplier sources, conducting interviews with potential vendors, negotiating favorable supplier agreements and managing supplier and vendor contracts.



Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with Company’s goals and objectives. Evaluate market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to optimize procurement processes.
  • Inventory management policies and procedures to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts. Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock movements and forecast demand accurately.
  • closely with the internal stakeholders including IT, Marketing, Admin Services, Project development teams to align procurement with their requirements and timelines.
  • Create & define procurement policies, standards, and compliance frameworks to align with corporate governance and industry best practices.
  • Drive digital transformation in procurement through adoption of e-procurement tools and analytics for decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on key procurement metrics (e.g., cost reduction, supplier performance, compliance).
  • Review, optimize, and streamline procurement processes to increase efficiency and transparency. Standardized policies for vendor selection, bidding, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, setting clear goals, KPIs, and development plans. Fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and talent development.
  • Oversee high-value purchasing decisions, ensuring cost efficiency and value delivery. Mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying vendor base and maintaining contingency plans.
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.


Job Requirements:


  • Proven working experience as a procurement manager or head of procurement.
  • Talent in negotiations and networking.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Qualifications: Ms/BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration/BSC in Civil Engineering/Mechanical.
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the Market.
  • Experience: 7-10 Years in procurement ,and 3 years relevant experience in construction industry.
