Zameen.com is looking to recruit a skilled professional for its
Senior Manager-Procurement
who will be responsible for purchasing of all the goods and services a company needs. The employee will be identifying potential supplier sources, conducting interviews with potential vendors, negotiating favorable supplier agreements and managing supplier and vendor contracts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with Company’s goals and objectives. Evaluate market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to optimize procurement processes.

Inventory management policies and procedures to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts. Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock movements and forecast demand accurately.

closely with the internal stakeholders including IT, Marketing, Admin Services, Project development teams to align procurement with their requirements and timelines.

Create & define procurement policies, standards, and compliance frameworks to align with corporate governance and industry best practices.

Drive digital transformation in procurement through adoption of e-procurement tools and analytics for decision-making.

Monitor and report on key procurement metrics (e.g., cost reduction, supplier performance, compliance).

Review, optimize, and streamline procurement processes to increase efficiency and transparency. Standardized policies for vendor selection, bidding, negotiation, and contract management.

Lead and mentor the procurement team, setting clear goals, KPIs, and development plans. Fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and talent development.

Oversee high-value purchasing decisions, ensuring cost efficiency and value delivery. Mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying vendor base and maintaining contingency plans.

Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.

Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Job Requirements:

Proven working experience as a procurement manager or head of procurement.

Talent in negotiations and networking.
-
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.

Experience in collecting and analyzing data.

Strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications: Ms/BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration/BSC in Civil Engineering/Mechanical.

Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
-
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the Market.

Experience: 7-10 Years in procurement ,and 3 years relevant experience in construction industry.
